Construction/Design changes
LEI supervised our certified craft on all aspects of the installation
and commissioning of plant instrumentation for Alstom at the
Lake Road, Bellingham and Blackstone projects for seven Combined
Cycle power plants - including planning and scheduling.
LEI designed motor operated and air operated valve control
circuits, specifying circuit components, routing control,
instrument and power cables, preperation of modification documentation,
and voltage, ampacity and instrument loop calculations at
Crystal River power plant.
Our electrical staff performed the installation of high voltage
switchyard electrical connections at Lake Road for Alstom.
Commissioning
I&C start-up for commissioning of GE Mark V 265 MW Combined
Cycle plants for Calpine. Start-up and acceptance testing of Bailey
Infi 90 DCS, IO Cabinets, 4160/480 switchgear, CTG, STG, ACC system
supervision and implementaton of final acceptance testing, troubleshootng
and turnover of plant systems for start-up.
LEI was responsible for the commissioning and start-up of
water supply, wastewater, fire protection, and air systems
for the combined cycle power plant at Blackstone.
Start-up, test and tune Bailely Infi90/Symphony Distributed
Control Systems at a combined cycle power plant for EMI/Calpine.
Maintenance
For Tiverton combined cycle power plant 260 MW GE-Mark V,
LEI Commissioned pressure/differential transmitters, level
columns, Yarway indicators and pressure and temperature indicators.
Larkin also performed loop checks and calibrations as well
as testing electrical systems including Switch Yard CT &
PT circuits & protective relays.
LEI performed preventative maintenance and modification on Medium
and High Voltage Switchgear projects. Corrective and PM work package
planning for 12 week and refueling outage schedules at the Point
Beach Nuclear Power Plant.
LEI performed the electrical and I&C maintenance outage at
Mystic Station for Exelon and MiBubishi in Everett, MA.
LEI performed the electrical and I&C installation of Bently,
Nevada Vibration Monitoring, GE-Mark VI control upgrade & boiler
burner managment upgrade at Salem Harbor in Salem, MA.
